The purpose of the Pyramid Twisty Puzzle is to scramble the colors and then restore them to their original configuration.
But along the way, you may discover other challenges like making patterns in the colours on each side.
While solving the Pyramid twisty puzzle is generally thought to be much easier than solving the Rubik’s Cube it’s still fun. And making the patterns can be quite tricky.
The Pyraminx is a puzzle in the shape of a regular tetrahedron, divided into 4 axial pieces, 6 edge pieces, and 4 tips. It can be twisted along each of its axis including each of the end tips which twist on their own.
Interestingly the Pyraminx, the original Pyramid Twisty puzzle, was invented by Uwe Mèffert from Germany in 1971. He did not patent the puzzle at the time and only bothered to do so after seeing the success of the Rubik’s Cube in 1981.
Smooth turning with a satisfying click once the move is done. This puzzle works better than the inexpensive price suggests!
The puzzle has standard Blue, Yellow, Orange and Green PVC stickers on black background.
It comes in a cardboard box.
